THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you ready to take the reins of a growing banking center and lead a team to success? First Federal is seeking a dynamic, sales driven Banking Center Manager to lead a team of sales and customer service professionals in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences while achieving operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the sales and business development efforts of the banking center to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Foster profitable customer relationships through community involvement and strategic approaches to enhance market share.
- Ensure exceptional internal and external customer experiences through effective communication and timely service delivery.
- Create a cohesive team environment and promote individual employee development.
- Maintain operational integrity and security by overseeing day-to-day operations and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor ongoing customer needs, market trends, and employee performance, and provide coaching and motivation as needed.
- Represent the bank professionally internally and externally, contributing to customer relationship expansion and enhancing the bank’s image.
- Supervise banking center employees. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training / coaching; planning assigning, scheduling and directing work;
appraising employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Thorough knowledge of deposit and credit banking products.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with tact and diplomacy.
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial institution, with experience as a teller, personal / universal banker, or bank manager.
- Completion of internal training curriculum in supervision, audit, and operations.
