Description :
Set up, operate, or tend manual press machine used to shape metal material to meet product specifications.
- Operate equipment, load and remove material from press
- Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment
- Place removed material onto conveyor or stack into containers
- Report any operating difficulties to supervisor
- Make press and feed gearing adjustments as necessary
- Set up manual presses and receiving containers
- Determine when dies need to be sharpened
- Maintain production records and inventories
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned
Other Job Functions
- Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
- Perform 5-S activities
Requirements :
- Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
- Must be willing to cross-train
- Must be able to work company’s required overtime
- Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
