The Junior Staff Accountant will be responsible for financial statement preparation and account reconciliations. Additionally, they will support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
Junior Staff Accountant Responsibilities :
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports tailored to the waste management industry
- Conducting reconciliations for accounts pertinent to waste disposal and recycling services
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, encompassing invoicing and vendor management
- Contributing to month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and bolster efficiency
Junior Staff Accountant Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 1+ year of general ledger accounting experience
- Strong analytical prowess and attention to detail, with the capacity to decipher intricate financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Stellar communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and a thirst for knowledge within a fast-paced environment
