Part-time Radiologist for Startup-Style Outpatient DR / IR Center
Part time 3 days / week. No nights or weekend call.
On-site and Virtual options available.
Reads per day - 60-100 mixed modality, Self-directed "Eat-what-you-kill" model with few minimum read obligations.
Hours : 830-430 PM EST, modifiable
Initial Vacation - 8 weeks (*excludes* built in company holidays) NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS.
Full Time transitional position as desired by candidate.
We are a small 4-member private practice north of Clearwater Beach, FL that provide both diagnostic and interventional radiology services to over 300 referring providers.
Our business design is independent of hospital contracts, and as such - we do not suffer the same risks as larger companies that are dependent on service contracts for income.
We are seeking a motivated, people-friendly, diagnostic radiologist to grow with the practice. Strong incentives exist to expand diagnostic and interventional skillsets due to immediate productivity returns.
This is a full-service outpatient center that provides the entire gamut of diagnostic radiology, including nuclear medicine, fluoro, ultrasound, MRI, CT, mammo.
We have a growing outpatient IR program, and are expanding into outpatient dialysis, chemoembolization, and vascular interventions as well.
The ideal candidate will continually expand his / her diagnostic (and if desired, interventional skillset). Our goal is to be disruptive to the existing radiology market, and provide lower-cost and safer outpatient radiology and interventional radiology services for the general population.
Long term goals include expansion into regenerative and rehabilitative diagnostic and interventional therapies.
As we are sharing the practice, daily work includes tech interactions and protocol optimization, physician phone call and consultation in addition to reads.
Interpersonal skills are important, as we have strong ties with the community.
