Kingdom One is partnered with Torrance First Baptist Church that is located in Torrance, CA as they look to grow their team by adding a Youth and Worship Pastor! Vision for this role The Youth and Worship Pastor at Torrance First Baptist will be an integral part of the pastoral staff providing overall vision, leadership, and shepherding alongside the other pastors and ministry staff.
Their primary areas of responsibility will be overseeing Jr. and Sr. High youth as well as leading the contemporary music for our Sunday morning service and periodically at other "all-church" events.
We’re looking for someone who : Provide overall leadership for Jr High / Sr High Ministries, which includes weekly Youth Group, Sunday Life Group, and various monthly events.
Lead contemporary worship for our morning service and various all-church events in coordination with the Lead Pastor. Preaching on occasion during Sunday service.
Participate in Church Staff Meetings, and attend / assist with all-church events. Assist with all-church visuals / graphics.
Attend and assist the Lead Pastor with various responsibilities during morning worship service. Recruiting and training volunteers as needed.
Lead weekly practices with the Praise Team members. Develop a team of and schedule for our praise team members. Develop aspiring musicians and vocalists.

Will connect students to the life of the church. A humble / teachable attitude with the desire to minister with a team. At least a college graduate w / 4-year bachelor's degree.
Seminary grad or enrolled preferred. Some experience working with youth and leading worship in a church context. Leadership skills, teaching ability, and musical skills required (able to lead worship from piano / guitar.
