Deco Planters is a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminum and Corten steel planters, edging, pergolas and other landscaping products for various commercial and residential applications.

We are committed to delivering top-notch products to our customers and are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing / Fabrication Manager to join our team and lead the production and development process.

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of aluminum and Corten steel products.

You will manage the production team, maintain product quality, and ensure that production targets and deadlines are met efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing, leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership : Manage, motivate, and lead a team of production workers, including plant supervisors, operators, and quality control personnel.
• Production Planning : Develop and execute production schedules, ensuring that targets are met on time and within budget.
• Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest product quality standards are upheld.
• Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency enhancements.
• Resource Management : Manage resources efficiently, including raw materials, equipment, consumables and labor.
• Health and Safety : Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• CNC Machine Maintenance - Oversee all CNC machines, ensuring they are running smoothly
• Inventory Management : Oversee inventory control to minimize waste and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Cost Management : Monitor and control production costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Supplier and Vendor Management : Coordinate with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of raw materials and components.
• Reporting : Generate regular reports on production performance, quality control, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications :

• Spanish-English Bilingual is a MUST .
• Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in metal fabrication.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
• Basic understanding of architectural drawings.

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
