Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of the Cardiopulmonary

• Supervisor, the Cardiopulmonary Technologist V is responsible for the provision of two of the three disciplines of echocardiography;
• to include adult, pediatric, neonatal and transesophageal echo; noninvasive vascular studies; to include carotid duplex, arterial and venous duplex, and plethysmography studies;

also EKG, and holter monitoring on patients according to physicians' orders, and established Department and Hospital standards of care.

What qualifications you will need : * Registered in one of the following : Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS;

or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI is required.

• 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
