Epic Design Labs is looking for an Ecommerce UX Designer with at least 2+ years of experience building amazing ecommerce sites.

We are a digital agency specializing in growing e-commerce brands through design, development, and marketing services. Beyond the services we sell though, our mission is to help our clients achieve theirs.

We’re looking for someone with an amazing design eye, to keep up with trends and design world-class sites for us to develop.

You should be able to research competitors, gather ideas, wire-frame out solutions, and pitch our ideas to the client and ultimately render something gorgeous with attention to details.

In general, you’ll be helping us level up our clients to grow their businesses.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. You need to be a problem solver, but you also need to help us and the client find those problems to solve.

A strong portfolio of successful ecommerce designs, UX wireframes and other technical projects is essential.

App design experience is beneficial as well.

2+ years UX Strategy, Design, and Research experience are vital.

You must be good with clients, and speak near-perfect English as a result.

Ultimately this position is about using our creativity and data to make a positive impact on online brands.

Responsibilities

• Research competitor sites as needed to assess ways to stand out against them
• Analyze data in platforms like Google Analytics, Lucky Orange, and more, to gather insights.
• Propose solutions to problems and opportunities found.
• Create wireframes as needed
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to clients and developers
• Product amazing designs our clients would be lucky to have.
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer or Creative Director.
• Strong portfolio of projects and examples of successful e-commerce consultation
• Analytical mind with a business acumen
• Always be learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Communication with clients and our team
• Find & Solve Problems
• Eye for high-quality design

Skills Needed

• Master Figma or other design / wireframing tools
• Master of creative solutions
• Design skills in a platform like Figma, sketch, photoshop, canva

You do not need to be a developer.

You do need to be someone who wants to help businesses grow and have the creativity to propose a vision to do that.
