This Video Producer is a key role within the Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE), Gartner's in-house creative agency. This role will report into and partner with the Executive Producer to help oversee strategic video solutions for a variety of video projects and initiatives.

What You Will Do :

  • Be a key member of the in-house production team to shoot in-person videos in our Stamford studio.
  • Ability to be onsite in our Stamford office 10+ days per month and remote for remaining days.
  • Travel to destination conferences and lead a production crew on site.
  • Ability to shoot with professional cameras, edit with Adobe Premiere, adjust audio and create light graphics, when needed.
  • Seamlessly integrate graphics created by our dedicated motion graphics team into video.
  • Working knowledge of virtual production, to be able to provide direction remotely to talent via our remote capture tool.
  • Working knowledge of technology and equipment relevant to LIVE shoots, editing and final delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Producer and other Directors and Producers across multiple projects.
  • Share passion for dynamic production methods with latest technology and editing styles.
  • Maintain the highest creative, conceptual and production standards - producing compelling work with flawless execution, while constantly ensuring brand integrity and consistency.
  • Translate client objectives into compelling, creative video editing, including selecting best music tonally and creatively for the edit.
  • Develop and deliver visually compelling videos that reflect Gartner's corporate brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Ensure video and graphic solutions support specific storytelling needs of the projects.
  • Proactively communicate within the production team and wider ecosystem of colleagues on projects.
  • Lead solutions to production and through workflow challenges.
  • 1 / 3rd shooter, 1 / 3rd video / editor storyteller, 1 / 3rd producer.

What You Will Need :

  • Located near Stamford, CT area. At least 1 hour commuting distance.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years in Production / Editing experience in corporate, agency or broadcast.
  • Advanced editing skills with Premiere and a good understanding of After Effects.
  • Good working knowledge of top-line production cameras, including RED, Cancon C-Line, Mirrorless, DSLR and others.
  • Good working knowledge of studio and on-location production setups, including lighting best practices and principles.
  • Experience leading production of shoots on and off location.
  • Ability to understand and visually translate complex business topics and trends.
  • Expert storyteller with a seemingly effortless ability to go from script to screen using stock video, motion graphics and shot elements through remote capture tools or in-studio shoots.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and share skills with production team members.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, very customer and service focused.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 77,280 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
