Role : Assistant Controller
Location : Bothell, WA
Pay Rate : Up to $70 / Hour
Our Eastside based client is looking for an Assistant Controller. Candidate must have a strong understanding of GAAP, ownership of financial reporting, and financial statement generation.
The Assistant Controller role consists of financial reporting, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
Responsibilities :
- Take ownership of financial reporting and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare financial statements and reports for review by the Controller.
- Manage and maintain fixed assets, lease accounting, and sales and use tax processes.
- Develop, implement, and oversee financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead efforts to achieve compliance with J-SOX regulations, ensuring a controlled financial environment.
- Coordinate with our client in Bothell and other external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address any audit findings.
