Entry level Accounting Assistant - Machine Parts Manufacturer

An international machinery parts company is currently looking for an Entry Level Accounting Assistant to join their office in the Dayton, OH area.

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years’ work experience in office environment or manufacturing environment, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

This is a full-time, direct hire position. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!Entry Level Accounting Assistant Responsibilities Include : Assisting some accounting duties including bookkeeping and reportingProcessing wage garnishmentsManage accounts receivable and accounts payable by depositing checks and preparing invoicesSupport any administrative tasks·Perform other duties related payroll and / or accounting as assignedEntry Level Accounting Assistant Requirements Include : Must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Accounting1-3 years’ experience in accounting assistant role is required.

Any knowledge of Japanese language is a big plusExperience with Data Entry is also preferred.Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Organizational and time management abilityThis position includes warehousing work environment.

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
