Responsibilities
As a Territory Sales Representative , you'll have the opportunity to :
- Collaborate with commercial and industrial customers to understand their unique needs and requirements.
- Visit both existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory, creating lasting relationships.
- Provide support to your customers through a combination of in-person visits, phone calls, and email correspondence.
- Conduct on-site surveys at job sites, gather vital information, and take precise measurements.
- Prepare quotes, estimates, and proposals, tailoring them to meet your customer's specific needs.
- Present innovative solutions that will delight your customers and address their concerns.
- Secure business, and professionally write up orders for processing.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role , you should :
- Have a minimum of 1+ years of experience estimating and / or B2B selling of commercial and industrial-related products.
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, along with the motivation and drive to secure the sale.
- Have exceptional customer focus, with the ability to work under pressure and meet customer needs proactively.
- Possess strong computer and technology skills, using these tools to your advantage in serving clients.
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Compensation
Compensation for this role is commission-based with a draw. Base draws are determined by evaluating the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Opportunities exist for a more significant earning potential based on sales.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, drive, talk, and hear. In addition, the employee is frequently required to use hands to write documents, operate a computer, and perform similar office tasks.
The employee is required to be mobile within the RDD office and warehouse and at customer locations. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds when carrying product samples, demonstration kits, office files, packages, parts, etc.
The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs and ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to drive, ability to view computer screens and documents, and the ability to adjust focus.

Protective Clothing Required : Closed toed shoes required. Safety glasses and steel toed shoes required when / if working in warehouse or field.
Hardhat, ear protection, and other job site specific PPE might be required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Work is occasionally performed in an office and warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Frequent travel via car is required in order to visit customer job sites and make sales presentations. The noise level at customer job sites varies from moderate to loud depending on the nature of their business.
