Our retail beauty client is seeking a talented and innovative Digital Designer to join their team in a hybrid role. This individual will be instrumental in developing creative solutions for digital storytelling across various paid digital marketing channels.
- Hybrid in Bolingbrook, IL - 6 days / month onsite
- 6+ month contract on a W2
$40.00-$43.00 / hour
Working closely with the Manager, Digital Design, and other teams across Paid Media, Ad Operations, Sales & Account Management, Merchandising, and Marketing, the successful candidate will contribute to the growth and innovation of our client's digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design creative projects for targeted marketing campaigns across various retail media ad products
- Produce digital content, including digital ads, GIFs, and HTML5 animations
- Understand and apply industry best practices and specifications for all social channel ad products
- Utilize proofing tools and collaborative project management tools
- Implement the brand identity, visual and voice into every campaign & communication
- Communicate and present design concepts effectively
- Collaborate with external partners to communicate creative direction and execute campaigns
- Share knowledge and skills with other designers to ensure continuity across digital touchpoints
Ideal candidates will have :
- 4 years of experience in digital visual design for marketing and / or advertising projects
- Proficiency in motion design and HTML5 animation
- A portfolio showcasing experience in digital marketing and content creation
- Knowledge of all social media platforms, best practices, ad specs, and latest trends
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere and AfterEffects), Sketch
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in Design, Media Arts, or similar
- Prior experience in beauty / fashion industry.
This role requires a passion for our client's beauty products and guests, and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
The position is hybrid, with 6 days per month required in-office for local candidates.
