JOB DESCRIPTION ACCOUNTING CLERK
PrideStaff Financial is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to work for a company in Reno! This company offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K match!
In this role, you will assist with bank reconciliations as well as processing journal entries and assist with the month-end closing period.
The Accounting Clerk may also compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Job Description
- Complete basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Post cash receipts, expenses, and other transactions to ledgers / journals
- Review invoices, bills, vouchers, and other documents for correction
- Reconcile and report any discrepancies
- Create and maintain financial reports
- Sort and file documents
- Perform calculations
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
Job Requirements
- At least 6 months recent experience in general accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Experience using accounting software
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail
