We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter based in Los Angeles, California. The role will be primarily remote, serving a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the lives of children and fostering community development.
Responsibilities :
- Source and recruit candidates suitable for various positions within the organization.
- Facilitate and manage the onboarding process ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring candidates align with the mission and values of the non-profit.
- Utilize your experience in the non-profit sector to build and maintain strong relationships within the community.
- Collaborate with community leaders to enhance recruitment efforts and community outreach.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in working with children and implement recruitment strategies that prioritize their safety and well-being.
- Successfully navigate a hybrid work structure, balancing on-site and remote work to meet the organization's needs.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members both in-person and virtually.
- Implement child-centric initiatives, ensuring recruitment strategies prioritize the safety and well-being of children within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role in the non-profit sector
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of labor legislation
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Knowledge of effective hiring practices and techniques
- Ability to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
