We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter based in Los Angeles, California. The role will be primarily remote, serving a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the lives of children and fostering community development.

Responsibilities :

  • Source and recruit candidates suitable for various positions within the organization.
  • Facilitate and manage the onboarding process ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring candidates align with the mission and values of the non-profit.
  • Utilize your experience in the non-profit sector to build and maintain strong relationships within the community.
  • Collaborate with community leaders to enhance recruitment efforts and community outreach.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in working with children and implement recruitment strategies that prioritize their safety and well-being.
  • Successfully navigate a hybrid work structure, balancing on-site and remote work to meet the organization's needs.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members both in-person and virtually.
  • Implement child-centric initiatives, ensuring recruitment strategies prioritize the safety and well-being of children within the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role in the non-profit sector
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
  • Knowledge of effective hiring practices and techniques
  • Ability to develop and implement recruiting strategies.
