Mobile Radiologic Technologist

O.C Mobile Imaging is currently hiring motivated and detail-orientated mobile radiologic technologist for a full-time

position serving; physicians’ offices, assisted living facilities, independent living, home health providers, hospice

health, and skilled nursing facilities in Southern California.

Pay depends on experience ranging from $37 to $45 per hour.

Responsibilities :

• Operate portable digital radiography equipment and send images to physician for interpretation
• Assesses and observes patient for adverse reactions during procedures
• Prepares patient for procedures
• Explains procedures, assists and transfers patient to table, positions patient's body for accurate images and

assists patient at end of procedure

Follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays, adjusts equipment, determines

proper voltage, current and desired exposure time, arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain

position of patient, adjust lead shields to protect unaffected parts of the patient's body, adjusts cone to direct

concentration of rays on specific area.

Observes patient and equipment during procedures and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's

condition

Arriving at scheduled exams, checking documents and paperwork for accuracy, performing exams, sending

images to dispatch, and maintaining a sanitary work environment

• Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems to supervisor
• Drive company vehicle to service locations
• Perform EKGs and deliver report to physician for interpretation
• Collect and scan medical documents for billing purposes
• Operate laptop computer and cell phone for communication with dispatch
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment
• Represent company in a professional and courteous manner
• Train other employees as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid radiology state license (CRT) from California
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license in California with Clean DMV record
