Supervision and Support :
- Assist in supervising patients in their daily activities.
- Ensure adherence to the clinical schedule and communicate any issues to the treatment team.
Transportation (if applicable) :

- Conduct vehicle and client safety checklists before transportation.
Security and Safety :
- Conduct continuous rounds of the facility, rooms, and grounds for overall safety.

- Proactively uphold facility rules and patient rights.
Communication and Maintenance :
- Communicate and resolve issues related to housekeeping duties, building upkeep, and grounds maintenance.
- Assist in preparing rooms and common areas for client admissions and discharges.
- Foster a supportive environment for clients following ethical treatment.
Proactive Involvement :
- Take a proactive approach to solving problems and following through on tasks.
- Independently function in a treatment program environment.
Reporting and Compliance :
- Report suspected contagious diseases to the Facility Director.
- Communicate grievances, incidents, suspected abuse, neglect, trauma, exploitation, safety issues, or breaches to the supervisor.
Training and Flexibility :
- Complete all required trainings, attend in-services, and participate in educational training as necessary.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changes in the work environment.
Other Tasks :
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Maintain up-to-date certifications, including CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, HIPAA, HIV / AIDS, Incident Reporting, Infection Control, Overdose Prevention, and Self-Administration of Medications.
- Ability to work as a team member with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible as per department needs.
- Knowledge of TJC standards, verbal and written communication skills, patient confidentiality laws, drug-free workplace policies, and corporate integrity and compliance program.
- Proficiency in handling technology and understanding Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
- Familiarity with community resources and contacts for community assistance.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; two years of work experience in a relevant setting.
- Minimum of five years of driving experience and a valid driver's license with a clear driving record (for drivers).
- Preferred experience in chemical dependency / substance abuse / psychiatric or human services field.
- Completion of required certifications and training, including CPR, HIPAA, HIV / AIDS, Verbal De-Escalation, Incident Reporting, Infection / STD Risks, HEP B / C, Abuse, Neglect, Trauma, and Exploitation, Understanding SUD, etc.
