Responsibilities : 1. Evaluate, build and test cylinders, pumps and motors.2. Evaluate warranty hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors.
3. Attend advanced training within hydraulic field.4. Reverse engineer hydraulic components.5. Create and document testing procedures.
6. Train new and / or junior level hydraulic technicians.7. Provide hydraulic field service to off-site customers on an as needed basis.
8. Design test fixtures and test set ups.9. Conduct intercompany training sessions. workflow for machine shop with Production Manager.
with Production Manager on problem jobs, afterhours ESFs, andcapital improvements for the hydraulic department. and ensures acceptable cleanliness levels within hydraulic test area andhydraulic work station.
safety rules and safe work practices are followed throughoutdepartment. in continuous improvement through training and associatedevelopment.
be able to correctly size, design and select proper seals and sealingmaterial. to read precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
every basic hand tool and many specialty tools to service hydraulicequipment at an advanced level. be able to identify component serviceability and level with a high degree ofaccuracy.
