We offer the most experienced and advanced inpatient and outpatient imaging services in the Big Bend region. We conduct more than 165,000 imaging procedures each year, including X-rays, CT scans, mammograms, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.

Your Role in Our Mission :
As a Radiologic Technologist , the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of the hospital environment will constantly challenge you to think on your feet, make split-second decisions and respond to urgent situations as you provide hands-on care and reassurance to critically ill and injured patients.
Imaging presents a rare and exciting opportunity for you to impact patients and healthcare practitioners in every unit of our hospital.
Tasked with operating advanced technology to produce high-quality images, you will collaborate with experts from many fields to contribute to diagnosis and save lives.
You will
- Play a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Help a diverse array of patients understand their medical conditions, guide them through the imaging process and offer comfort during what may
be a stressful time.
- Performs radiologic procedures and examinations independently.
- Operate both fixed and portable fluoroscopic or conventional radiologic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, and critical care units.
- Obtains routine radiographs of designated body portions in accordance with physicians’ specifications under general supervision.
- Position patients and adjust radiologic equipment to correct settings for each examination
- Ensure proper patient care and safety during their stays in Radiology.
- Assists physicians with examinations by preparing and mixing contrast media.
- Administers contrast media under a radiologist’s direct supervision.
- Assists with sterile procedures, when needed, and with other duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education :
Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
Required Experience :
No previous experience required
Preferred Qualifications :
Two (2) or more years of job-related experience.
Required Certification / License / Registry :
Certified as a radiologic technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 468 (Miscellaneous Professions and Occupations), Part IV (Radiological Personnel Certification).
Certification / registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
