We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst candidate for a contract to hire position.
Responsibilities
Respond to security threats and incidents across Iodine’s Enterprise
Operate and monitor security tools
Experience conducting Tabletop and Red team exercises.
Proficient in Vulnerability Identification using CVSSv3
Familiarity with Risk-based Vulnerability Scoring such as Vulnerability Priority Rating (Tenable)
In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, common exploits
Knowledge of various operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Linux
Knowledge of applications, databases, middleware to address security threats against the same
Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards, and documentation
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with terminology and concepts related to AWS services
Articulate Key Concepts of AWS Security Measures
Knowledge of securing network access to AWS resources
Knowledge of AWS services that can be used for security logging and monitoring
Proficient in protecting AWS workloads with AWS security Services
Working knowledge of AWS security best practices for Network Infrastructure and Computing
Deep knowledge of Container Security
Proficient with AWS Config in examining overall compliance against the configuration specified in organizational guideline
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
1-5 years AWS security experience with a proven ability to work within an operational 24 / 7 environment
4+ years’ experience in administering IT security controls in an organization.
Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, applications, and systems in relation to Security and Risk.
Experience with Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation AWS Technical Essentials, AWS Cloud Security Fundamentals, and a strong background in information security concepts, techniques, in the area of networking, operating systems, data encryption and operational controls
Project management skills preferred
5 years of professional experience as a Security Engineer or other hands-on information security role
5 years of experience working with Linux systems
5 years of experience working with information security tools such as (SIEM, EDR, CSPM, Vulnerability Scanners, etc)
