Use your CAD experience to work with a sales team to create conceptual layout drawings, and generate pricing and proposals for innovative production machinery.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop a system concept and create a conceptual layout drawing (CLD) of the proposed system
- Generate pricing for equipment utilizing internal pricing tools and soliciting bids from vendors
- Work with the Sales team to generate pricing and proposals for customers.
- Revise the drawing, pricing, and proposal as needed
- Work with engineering and manufacturing to establish a delivery schedule
- Prepare projects for handoff to the Project Management team. Answer questions during mfg and installation.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations with the Sales Managers. Answer questions about equipment
- Interface with the following groups :
- Project Engineers when establishing system layouts
- Production Engineers when developing schedules
- Development Engineers when discussing the application of new design concepts
- Use software programs including :
- AutoCAD LT to create conceptual layout drawings
- Salesforce and BigMachines to generate pricing and proposals
- SAP to enter order information and research historical data
Requirements
- Bachelor or Associate of Applied Science degree in an engineering-related field
- AutoCAD experience to produce 2-dimensional drawings
- Able to travel 15-20% (one to two trips per month)
