James Beard award winner Karen Akunowicz’s South Boston restaurant Bar Volpe is searching for full and part-time Line Cooks to join their team.
Salary starts at $20+ an hour inclusive of kitchen appreciation tips.

Chef Akunowicz’s vibrant first restaurant Fox & the Knife was named Best New Restaurant in America by Food + Wine Magazine and was a James Beard Finalist for Best New Restaurant in America.
Bar Volpe has been named best pasta and best Italian by Boston Magazine. Bar Volpe pays homage to Southern Italy and houses its own pasta shop and wood-fired grill.
The cuisine is traditional Italian with a modern hand, complemented by a wine and beverage program to match.
Ideal candidates approach their job with pride, cook from their hearts, and genuinely love to take care of their guests. Previous experience with Italian cuisine is appreciated but not necessary.
An uncompromising work ethic and attention to detail and cleanliness are required. Candidates must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts each week.
You will work directly with Chef Akunowicz and Chef de Cuisine Molly Dwyer daily to create a warm and welcoming place to work and dine.
