Job Opportunity : Pressing Area Technician
A client of ours located in Salem is looking for a Pressing Area Technician . Will assist technical personnel in the preparation of products for pressing.
They will operate presses and convey intermediate and by-products to holding areas. They are also responsible for proper sanitation and storage of processing equipment.
About the Company : A food manufacturing company.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Assist technical personnel in equipment operation during production.
- Move press cages between press areas during operation.
- Clean equipment and reusable elements such as filters between production runs.
- Direct product waste to appropriate disposal equipment with the use of automated equipment.
- Operate Press Feed and powered lift equipment from elevated control panels.
- Monitor and adjust temperature of product storage tanks with the use of manual and electronic systems.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in an automated industrial food manufacturing setting in a position involving intermediate food processing and sanitation of equipment is desired.
Schedule :
Day : Monday - Friday some Saturdays 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM
Swing : Sunday - Thursday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM
Pay : $16.50-$17.25 / hour
