To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to be :
- Accountable for Maintenance Department safety, quality, production and delivery maintenance objectives for the Plant.
- Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the Maintenance Team.
- Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the Maintenance Team.
- Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
- Responsible for ensuring the entire Maintenance Team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.
- Partner with shift Production Supervisor and Controls Engineer in resolving production challenges.
- This role reports to the Maintenance Mgr.
SUCCESS FACTORS :
- Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology, preferred.
- 5+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor experience, automotive manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Leadership capability to teach, mentor and coach Maintenance Team in effective problem-solving methods.
- Proven leadership ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to work well with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Preventive Maintenance and ERP software systems.
