Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to be :

• Accountable for Maintenance Department safety, quality, production and delivery maintenance objectives for the Plant.
• Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the Maintenance Team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the Maintenance Team.
• Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring the entire Maintenance Team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.
• Partner with shift Production Supervisor and Controls Engineer in resolving production challenges.
• This role reports to the Maintenance Mgr.

SUCCESS FACTORS :

• Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology, preferred.
• 5+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor experience, automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Leadership capability to teach, mentor and coach Maintenance Team in effective problem-solving methods.
• Proven leadership ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to work well with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft, Preventive Maintenance and ERP software systems.
