Advent Talent Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a seasoned HR Consultant. This role requires a flexible, on-call HR professional to provide comprehensive support across various HR functions.

As the client’s needs can vary, the position offers flexibility with no set weekly hours, accommodating fluctuating workloads.

Hybrid with occasional on-site throughout the Twin Cities Metro

Flexible occasional hours!

Compensation : $60.00-70.00 / hr.

Duties :

  • HR Consultation : Provide expert advice on a broad range of HR topics, including policy development, compliance, and best practices.
  • Employee Relations Management : Address and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances effectively and discreetly.
  • Performance and Talent Management : Support performance management processes, including evaluations, improvement plans, and talent development initiatives.
  • Policy and Procedure Oversight : Review, update, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development : Identify training needs and recommend development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Analytics : Analyze HR metrics and generate reports to support strategic decision-making and track HR performance.
  • Change Management Support : Assist with organizational changes, including transitions in leadership, to ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications :

  • HR Experience : Proven experience as an HR consultant or in a similar HR role with a strong focus on employee relations and general HR management.
  • Knowledge of HR Laws : Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges.
  • Leadership Collaboration : Experience working with senior leaders and influencing HR strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Independent Work : Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
