Title : Insurance Data Analyst

Time : 6 : 30 PM to 03 : 30 AM IST
Roles & Responsibilities :
- The Data Analyst must be able to identify, define and employ an analytical strategy to proactively and reactively support data investigation.
- Creates and maintains complex spreadsheets, dashboards and database queries containing information by using Excel, and SQL, PowerBI etc.
- Performs analysis of metrics / KPI’s and produces various reports as determined by management.
- Strategically mines policy data, claims data, and other transaction data to identify or confirm patterns and data quality.
- Develops, produces and maintains ad hoc and custom reports working with all functional areas of the company. (claims, underwriting, finance, et al.)
- Utilizes exception analysis to audit data, identify and trace faulty information to its source. Proactively and independently works to get information corrected.
- Assists other associates with preparation of reports and use of information systems, software and related sources of information.
Good Team player JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Required : Extensive use Excel skills.
- Required : Extensive use of SQL queries in SSMS, SQL Developer, or similar.
- Required : 2-3 years data analysis experience in P&C Insurance focus on Claims and Underwriting
- Desired : Flexible to work in a distributed team structure with Developers and Testers.
- A Plus : Experience with PowerBI or SSAS or Tableau A Plus : P&C insurance experience, claim processing, Document management.
- Works well both independently, and within a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and works well under pressure.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills to audience of various functional areas and all levels of the organization, from analyst to C-suite.
Ability to build strong relationships across the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.
