Position Overview :
This is a senior level position in application / system engineering. Responsibilities include designing and debugging converter modules, defining and debugging analog IC products, developing reference circuits, writing datasheets and application / design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
Job Function :
- Design converter modules such as LLC, hybrid buck, and switch capacitors.
- Work with TME, design engineers, and field applications team, to define and debug analog IC products including but not limit to 48V converters, high side switches, E-fuse, and Class-D amplifier
- Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions.
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences.
- Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers
- Prior experience in IBC and 48V converter design and debug is a plus
Requirement :
- 5+ years of hand-on experience in switching power supply designs.
- Solid academic knowledge on resonant converters and transformer design.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Previous work experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company is preferred
Qualification :
MSEE or higher required

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.
The base salary range for this position in California is $135,000 - $170,000.
