Product Development Project Coordinator

This individual will work as a member of the Product Development Team, managing prototype request projects from the Marketing and Purchasing teams.
The main focus of this new position will be to facilitate due dates, coordinate resources across production, and manage the Jira VSS system for delivery.
Responsibilities :
- Project management Receive and manage the delivery of key initiatives by specific dates :
- Ideation, strategize and proposal award solutions to sales team, prospects, and clients.
- Project manage product designs from ideation and proposal to launch.
- Assist with implementation of process development and documentation.
- Cross functional team leadership, prototype management, material set-up, ensuring capabilities are in place and ready to support new award types.
- System support and analysis for potential programming needs
- Launch initiatives, coordination of samples, collateral, training
- Ownership of project timelines
- Create a positive and motivating development environment.
Job Requirements
Requirements :
- The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter, creative, and organized.
- Able to plan project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of configurator, material master, SAP, and JIRA.
- Detail oriented with the ability to understand the strategic impact of decisions
- Knowledge and experience of Tanner systems
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
- BA / BS degree in related field and / or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be flexible and willing to work on multiple and varied projects simultaneously
- Must be PC literate and have experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
