Job Description :

As an Innovation AI Leader, you will understand key business opportunities within the Life Sciences industry particularly focused on Discovery, Development, and Commercialization by leveraging the power of AI technology capabilities.

This role will actively engage with business teams to provide guidance on AI strategy and implementation to transform the way we operate.

The Innovation AI Lead works within IT to help create a new digital experience. They will manage the portfolio of AI projects and work closely with business functions to flush out use cases, understand requirements and data.

This role will liaison across the enterprise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to manage and deliver impactful data solutions that meet business expectations.

The candidate should combine expertise in data science and project management to drive successful projects. The individual should possess technical fluency in AI, machine learning, engineering, and data integration.

This role will work with business functions to help identify areas of opportunity and be an advocate for AI.

Responsibilities :

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise explanations for business.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Create and deliver presentations showcasing the benefits and value of AI solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct regular project status meetings to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to ensure that AI solutions are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Understanding of AI, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality AI solutions.
• Proven experience in data science, including data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business teams and IT.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, natural language processing systems, and computer vision applications.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical terms for business.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements :

• Pharma industry experience required.
• Project Management and Data Science experience required.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Four-year college degree in computer science, and 10+ years equivalent work experience.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $199,899.00 - $211,149.00 per year

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
