Embedded Risk Manager (Senior Associate Level)
About the job : We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Risk Manager (ERM) for a hybrid role based in Coppell, TX. As a central point of contact, you will work closely with IT and various control functions to ensure adherence to risk and control commitments.
Your ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively across departments will be key to your success. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to drive risk management in a high-stakes financial services environment.

What youll be doing :
- Serve as a liaison between IT and control functions such as Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management, and Regulatory Relations
- Track and drive the completion of risk-related commitments, including audit deliverables, risk acceptances, and policy deviations
- Identify control gaps and ensure timely remediation, while providing guidance to stakeholders
- Integrate risk management into ITs continuous improvement processes and roadmaps
- Collaborate with the Risk Management Center of Excellence to manage audit and regulatory actions
- Update the Process, Risk & Control (PRC) framework to mitigate future risk findings
Requirements :
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure : mainframe, distributed systems, cloud, network, disaster recovery, and ITIL processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
- Ability to identify audit control gaps in engineering platforms
- Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred or equivalent experience
