Retention Loan Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retention Loan Officer to join our growing team. As a Retention Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our existing client base by offering refinancing solutions tailored to each client's financial goals and needs.

This position requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Manage a portfolio of our existing mortgage clients, understanding their financial objectives and mortgage needs.
• Proactively contact clients to discuss refinancing opportunities, interest rate adjustments, and other mortgage solutions.
• Analyze financial information such as credit reports, income documentation, and property valuations to determine the feasibility of refinancing options.
• Present and explain refinancing options, terms, and costs to clients, ensuring transparency and clarity.
• Assist clients through the refinancing process, including completing applications, gathering required documentation, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and confidence in our services.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in the mortgage market.
• Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient processing of refinancing applications.
• Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements :

• Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required.
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan structuring, and refinancing options.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the mortgage industry.
