This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the success of the projects under his / her management.
  • Handle all aspects for a project.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and / or aligns with the company strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design / management experience.
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in VT or be able to be licensed in VT.
  • Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public and private sector clients.
  • An established business network with VTrans and Municipal clients and contractors.
  • Prior experience with the Federal-Aid project delivery process.
  • Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work.
  • Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
  • Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and / or design build procurement a plus.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
