The Process Control Engineer will :
- Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Analyze project scopes, establish criteria, and conduct feasibility studies.
- Provide technical guidance to teams, promoting a safe and effective work environment.
- Education : Bachelor’s Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in process control or similar roles in refining / chemical industries 8 years in controls supervision without a degree.
- Technical Skills : Advanced skills in modeling, multivariable control, DeltaV, DCS / PLC configuration, and instrument tuning.
- Other Requirements : Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approachValid driver’s license and eligibility for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Engineering Expertise : Guide engineering efforts to ensure safe and compliant design across projects.
- Project Management : Define and control project scopes to improve refinery operations and oversee work quality, budget, and timelines.
- Training & Mentorship : Serve as a mentor and trainer to new engineers, keeping teams updated on technology and best practices.
- Advanced Control Projects : Lead and optimize control system design and implementation to enhance unit performance.
- System Maintenance : Ensure the efficient operation of Process Control System (DCS), Multivariable Control (MVC), and Safety Instrumented System (SIS).
