WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR MANAGER HRBP - MARKETING (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS)

SENIORITY LEVEL : Mid-senior level

FUNCTION : Human Resources

LOCATION : Winston-Salem, NC, USA

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This position reports to Vice President HR Business Partner Marketing. The role will be responsible for partnering with the marketing leaders and the marketing HRBP Team and to support the delivery of the talent agenda for the function as a member of the Marketing HRBP Team.

This role will be responsible for strategic and tactical employee relations consultation and resolution to managers and employees including coaching, counseling and adherence to company, HR, and departmental policies and procedures (including the TM Playbook and all marketing compliance policies and procedures).

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Primary strategic partner to marketing function for employee policy and conduct violations

Servesas a critical issue point for the marketing business partner team as it relates to employee relations issues, and a liaison between the marketing HRBP team and the Employee Relations team for the blocking issue of matters to the Employee Relations COE.

Conduct investigations and follow up on complaints from the marketing function and advance where appropriate to the Employee Relations COE.

Recommending appropriate corrective and coaching actions.

Provide coaching and guidance to the marketing HRBP Team on performance management and performance improvement plans

Support the marketing HRBP Team as it works with the marketing function to implement and manage human resources processes, including :

Talent management, development, recruitment, and succession planning

Employee engagement strategies and plans

Base salary determination and review (. dual career ladders, job evaluation), annual bonus and long-term incentives (stock option and restricted stock)

Strategic workforce planning

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

Minimum of five to seven years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or generalist roles.

Previous experience with employee relations matters is a plus.

Experience demonstrating organizational design principles and strategies to drive organizational effectiveness preferred.

Prior experience implementing talent strategies for a research and development function highly preferred; experience in a multi-national global consumer products company would be beneficial.

Knowledgeable in groundbreaking business practices, trends and information; aware of reward and benefits strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace.

Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, with the ability to lead and develop individuals at all levels and with an array of abilities.

Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Decisive, demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting demands (most critical will be used when advertising the role)

Strong collaboration and team-oriented approach with an ability to positively influence others across an organization at all levels.

Self-motivated, self-confident individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a vibrant environment as a leader influencing change and transformation.

Able to build credibility among senior management and peers to gain commitment and support for major initiatives while placing company’s interests first.

Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Comfortable developing and delivering presentations applying data and insights.

Strong conceptual problem solver with an ability to analyze and grasp the broader picture.Possesses an inquisitive nature.

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in business, human resources or a related field preferred.
