Key Responsibilities : Providing ECT treatment.Providing inpatient level of care on the psychiatric unit from admission until discharge.

Developing an appropriate treatment plan, monitoring progress towards goals, and determining disposition upon discharge for the patients under their care.

This position requires familiarity with the use of emergency medications, seclusion / restraint procedures, pharmacology for acute agitation, risk assessment, and treatment of substance intoxication and withdrawal.

The inpatient psychiatrist should be comfortable managing comorbid medical conditions in collaboration with inpatient medicine / surgery attendings as appropriate.

Building relationships with other departments and campusesActively Contributes to Academic Advancement of his / her discipline.
