The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $135,000 annually depending on experience.

The preferred candidate will have great technical experience, ability to provide system design working with our other engineering staff, lead installation crews on facility upgrades both large and small, and commission and troubleshoot new and existing systems.
They will also be able to provide technical client training for complex, high priority projects for both our production partners and the clients.
AVIXA CTS-D and / or CTS-I are preferred. Manufacturer training and certifications with major brand audio visual systems and components, including Crestron (Crestron 101, Toolbox, & DMC-T,D, or E-4K,) BIAMP (Forte’ & Tesira,) Ross Video & other video production switchers and equipment, audio mixers, and other broadcast and AV equipment is a plus.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Available to perform ongoing broadcast and audiovisual engineering support and maintenance with detailed reporting for a large audiovisual and broadcast production facility in the downtown Los Angeles area.
Work with CAD and / or Visio to ensure accuracy of documentation for assigned projects at the facility.
Ability to rapidly troubleshoot as well as maintain and setup networks both large and small as they relate to this facility and coordinate with facility IT Department with a working knowledge of VLANS, VOIP, and network security.
Rapid troubleshooting under pressure is required as well as intimate knowledge of all AV and broadcast site systems including audio, video including cameras and camera robotics, networks, reference, sync, postproduction, and master control systems.
Work with other Triton Design Engineers, Project Management, our production partner, and the client when making system design modifications.
Lead commissioning efforts for high profile, complex system upgrades which require advanced closeout and setup practices on tight deadlines.
Must have the ability to lead technical client system training sessions and coordinate and direct manufacturer training.
Act as senior installation supervisor and Triton’s primary client interface for this client to complete complex, high priority, and / or large facility projects that may include both audiovisual and broadcast production or post-production systems.
Proactively anticipate issues and risks and mitigate those, working closely with Triton’s Management Team, the onsite production team, and the client.
Oversee standard ongoing testing and maintenance of all systems at the site and the ongoing documentation of that testing.
Supervise trouble ticket resolution effort for engineering items with the site systems

We will get the candidate the proper certifications for all safety and job requirements.

REQUIREMENTS :
AutoCAD experience is required and may require demonstration live in interview process
Microsoft Office Experience including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and MS Visio
No less than five years broadcast systems including production, post, or master control systems and / or AV experience including Council Chambers, Boardrooms, conference rooms, and other AV system types.
