Insurance Coverage Associate

Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking three to seven year lawyers to join its national and international insurance litigation practice.

The position is based in San Francisco, but our culture fosters global collaboration on a daily basis. Candidates should have a strong litigation background, with experience analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation.

The ideal candidate also will have taken and defended depositions, attended court conferences, and argued motions.

We want to help you build a career here, and provide significant business development training, dedicated associate and partner mentors, and a firm-wide associate committee to liaise with the partners.

Candidates must be admitted in good standing in California and have at least three years of California practice experience.

Additional admissions in other states a plus.

Competitive salary, bonus and benefits package offered. 1920 billable hour requirement.

The annualized salary range for this role is $125,000-$180,000; however, actual salary is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Remote arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
