We are currently looking for two equine veterinary assistants with somewhat different skill sets required.
Position one could be filled closer to an entry level position. Necessary skill sets to be considered would be strong horse handling skills- able to work safely around horses that may not be having their best day, and to also keep the doctor safe while they are concentrating on diagnositics.
Also necessary :
- good driver, and has the capacity to work on a computer as a passenger in a moving vehicle.
- Good typing / computer skills
- Calm under pressure
- Attention to detail (restocking, equipment care)
Position 2 is not an entry level position. Includes all of the above skills, as well as at least a year working in the veterinary or medical fields.
This assistant needs to have the capacity to organize a work day, and problem solve on their own, clearing the way for the doctor to be free to spend the majority of their time doing only medical tasks.
The pay range could extend for the right applicant.
Pay Range$18$22 USD
