They are looking for an Embedded Software Manager to lead our talented team in developing reliable, high-quality software solutions for our next generation of products.
Position Overview :
As the Embedded Software Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and integration of embedded software systems for our medical devices.
You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the embedded software development process, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and validation.
- Manage a team of embedded software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for professional development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and performance of software systems.
- Define and enforce software development methodologies and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant medical device regulations (e.
g., ISO 62304, FDA guidelines).
- Oversee software testing and validation processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our software solutions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing software for medical devices and familiarity with relevant regulatory standards.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and team building.
