$70.00 / hour PRN, 8 hours / week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Review all newly enrolled MIECHV funded families
- Identify families who would benefit from mental health consultation. Additional families may be identified by home visitors or supervisors
- Monthly review of each family for purpose of developing appropriate intervention plan
- Provide monthly (min. 1 hour) individual consultation to home visitors who serve MIECHV funded families
- Monitor and identify trends related to mental health concerns, report concerns to program management
- Conduct training (minimum bi-monthly) to address overall trends and concerns related to mental health, and mental health related training as requested by home visitors, supervisors or program management
- Provide documentation to program management and DCS using provided forms and the Healthy Families database
- Participation in evaluation of mental health consultation services as requested by program management or DCS
- Enter documentation as appropriate and requested in statewide data system (FamilyWise)
- Seek and maintain Endorsement from the Indiana Association for Infant and Toddler Mental Health
EDUCATION / YEARS OF EXPERIENCE :
- Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, marriage / family, or related human service field required
- Current clinical license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following : 1.
Clinical Social Worker 2. Marriage and Family Therapist 3. Mental Health Counselor required
