Responsibilities for the CAD Designer include :
- Developing components throughout the entire design process
- Creating and editing CAD drawings in compliance with ASME standards
- Acting as technical support for the creation of technical publications and presentations
- Designing test equipment for lab tests
Requirements for the CAD Designer include :
- Associates Degree in Design / Drafting preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical CAD Designer using 3D CAD design packages
- Must be proficient in parametric modeling of components
- Familiar with casting, forgings, weldments, stampings, and extrusions is preferred
- Understanding of ANSI Y145M 1982 and ASME Y14.5M
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
