Senior IT Auditor

Our client is a national health care services company headquartered in Nashville, TN. Through its subsidiaries, our client owns and operates nearly 200 sites of care.

Their subsidiaries own and operate hospitals and multispecialty physician practices in six states. Our client's network includes 30 hospitals, 4,423 patient beds, 23,000 employees and 1,700 employed physicians.

Within the industry, they are noted for recognizing that every hospital is as unique as the community it serves. This in-depth understanding of how health care works at the local level is one of our client's great strengths.

The Senior IT Auditor is responsible for conducting routine and ad hoc internal audits and monitoring ITGC controls and SOC controls.

The internal audit department performs a diverse mix of financial, operational, compliance, information technology and controls-based audit projects.

In our client's Internal Audit department, you will continue to develop the skills you learned in public consulting or industry internal audit that can lead to your continued progression in internal audit or optional placement in other roles within the Company.

Senior IT Auditor Responsibilities :

• Understands the entire audit process and has as a proven track record of planning, execution and reporting on internal IT audits
• Leads and helps during fieldwork, manages audit performance including keeping business leaders updated and on-track during audit engagements
• Manages time and takes ownership of assignments to ensure that fieldwork is executed as planned and in accordance with expected timelines and quality
• Prioritizes relationship building with business leaders and identifies opportunities to enhance the audit engagement experience
• Understands business leader's ambitions and provides consulting as necessary

Senior IT Auditor Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Management, Accounting, Business or related field
• Great communication skills
• Past audit experience specifically with ITGC and SOC controls
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that deliverables address risk
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
• Contribute to a positive team attitude and collaborative working environment
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
