Electrical Project Engineer Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Electrical Project Engineer in Leesburg, VA is between $70,000 and $85,000.

Electrical Project Engineer Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing submittals.
- Processing RFI’s.
- Keeping up daily work tickets.
- Posting RFI’s and change orders.
- Tracking and price orders.
- Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
- Documenting project issues / conditions.
- Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
- Submitting hours and cost codes.
- Obtaining permits, badges, and access requests in advance
- Manage project library.
- Participates in KPR (Key Project Review).
Electrical Project Engineer Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a project engineer and bachelor’s in engineering discipline.
- Experience with change orders.
- Experience with take offs.
- Experience with RFI submittal.
- Experience with Schedule Development / Managing (example : Primavera P6 and / or MS Project).
- Experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point Programs.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
