Cap Elevator seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and innovate in elevator modernization, repair, and new construction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Leadership : Lead the planning, bidding, and management of elevator modernization, new construction, and repair projects.
  • Technical Troubleshooting : Provide expert troubleshooting for mechanical issues, perform quality reviews, and conduct progress meetings with clients.
  • Scheduling & Progress Tracking : Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Compliance : Prepare pay applications on standard HUD and AIA forms, maintain comprehensive project records, and ensure compliance with all industry regulations.
  • Field Supervision : Oversee on-site activities, conduct site surveys, evaluate system requirements, and manage field staff to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Build and sustain strong relationships with owners, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Safety & Code Adherence : Ensure all projects meet federal, state, and local elevator code requirements, conducting regular site visits to monitor safety and progress.

Qualifications :

  • Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Expertise : A minimum of 4 years in a Project Management or Project Engineer role within the elevator industry is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Software Skills : Experience with AutoCAD is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Dropbox is required.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for problem-solving, discipline, and organization.
