JobDescription :
We are looking for aCNC Header / Drill Machinist to set up and operate numerical controlmachines to perform various functions such as cutting drillingmilling and more on metallic and nonmetallic workpieces.
The idealcandidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints planningsheets sketches and technical data to determine toolingrequirements setup procedures control settings and machiningmethods.
Responsibilities include mounting and aligning toolingusing an overhead crane assembling cutting tools and loadingcontrol media.
The operator will calculate and set machine controlsmanipulate controls to start the machine and monitor displays formalfunctions.
They will adjust machine settings change cuttersmeasure workpieces for conformance to specifications and manuallyoperate the machine if necessary.
The role also involves notifyingthe supervisor of discrepancies resolving control media errorsmaintaining production records cleaning the machine and parts andperforming some machinemaintenance.
Requirements :
Candidatemust be capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment andcollaborating with team members. A high school diploma or GED ispreferred along with a minimum of two years of related experienceor training.
