Summary
This position is a per diem position located at 335 Brighten Ave, Portland, ME Exam Proctors are responsible for setting up exam rooms, recording attendance, and supervising large numbers of examinees to ensure that everyone follows the rules and no one is cheating.
The exams are online and the proctor manages the exam start and end times, enforces all exam regulations, ensuring that all exams are submitted in time, in addition to providing technical troubleshooting assistance, when needed.
Exam proctors are essential to protecting the integrity of the test and maintain our compliance of several national boards of accreditation.
This position is per-diem based on the exam schedules and offers some flexibility on exam sessions based on staffing levels and availability.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education : High school diploma is required (must be 18 years or older).
License / Certifications : N / A Experience : No experience necessary, all relevant training will be provided to qualified individuals.
Must have self-confidence and ability to command a room and speak in front of large numbers of people. Must have a demonstrated ability to use good judgement and be able to follow directions.
Reliability and arriving on time is critical (no flexibility). Must have weekday, day-shift availability.
