Project Overview :

The Department of the Army, The Army University has a requirement to provide turnkey classroom Sustainment and Technology, for technology refresh and sustainment of more than 300 Army classrooms.

Classroom Technology and Sustainment requires classroom audiovisual and IT services-based solutions under which the contractor will be required to provide a full range of equipment and software associated with those services.

In addition to equipment and software, classroom rehabilitation may be required prior to the installation of the technology to provide a total technology solution.

Position Overview :

The Senior Audio-Visual Technician Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) is responsible for leading and managing a team of AV Technicians and designers and will oversee the design and implementation of complex audio-visual systems across multiple classrooms.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent.

Primary / Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

• Oversee the design and implementation of complex AV systems across multiple classroom settings.
• Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians and designers to ensure high standards of technical excellence.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure AV solutions meet educational and operational needs.
• Develop and implement training programs for end-users on the new AV systems.
• Conduct high-level troubleshooting and support for advanced AV system issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

Required Qualifications and Experience :

• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) with additional advanced certifications.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in AV systems design and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced AV technologies and integration in a classroom or educational environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior technicians.
• Ability to travel to various CONUS locations
