- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.
- Install, maintain, and test protective relays and other electrical equipment.
- Provide technical support to other LCRA employees and customers.
- Maintain and update knowledge of electrical protection testing principles and practices.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Meet all safety and quality standards
You qualify with :
Five or more years of experience in the construction and / or maintenance of power substation protection, diagnostic, monitoring and / or control systems or other relevant experience.
A degree(s) in electrical power theory, electronics, instrumentation, controls, computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Driver’s license
