Onsite Philadelphia

This is for the lab testing (all the wifi (router) access points) Master-internet connection

Must have good writing skills, and make a report in power point, must understand and be able to present the data, give a report with graphs etc.

What you will be doing as a Wi-Fi Test Engineer :

• Understanding of latest Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E, WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA
• Ability to understand and optimize network for convergence of Wireless Wi-Fi and 5G
• Experience in Testing Wi-Fi Networks
• Strong in Wi-Fi Protocols
• In-depth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture / analysis
• Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices, DOCSIS, Cable Modem standards etc
• Experience designing and implementing WLAN, wireless networks, and RF Link
• In depth understanding of Wi-Fi authentication protocols (WPA2 / WPA3 / 802.1X with EAP-TLS / PEAP)
• Expertise in neighbor reports, fast BSS transitions, and BSS transition management and proficient in 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v

Responsibilities

• Investigate and validate hardware compliance with 802.11 protocols and features
• Work with test equipment such as Octoscope, Candela, or Veriwave
• Verify that the Wi-Fi hardware adheres to industry standards (such as IEEE 802.11 specifications)
• Conduct tests to ensure compliance with specific Wi-Fi protocols (e.g., 802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax)
• Evaluate the hardware's performance under various conditions (e.g., different data rates, channel widths, and modulation schemes)
• Analyze client behavior, signal strength, and handover performance
