What You'll Do as a Production Planner :
- Plan and release production schedules : Orchestrate the flow of work through manufacturing to exceed production deadlines.
- Inventory Guru : Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate cycle counts for efficiency.
- Customer Champion : Prioritize specific customer orders and ensure on-time delivery.
- SAP Savvy : Utilize your SAP skills (or MRP system knowledge) to manage production planning parameters.
- Data Detective : Analyze production requirements and plant capacity to optimize resource allocation.
- Team Player : Collaborate with production teams and factory schedulers to set achievable deadlines.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might :
- Have 3+ years of experience in a high-volume / lean manufacturing environment
- Have strong analytical skills and a disciplined approach to planning
- Possess proficient PC skills (SAP, MRP, Excel, and / or Access)
